Property expo to kick off
Housing products and construction and building materials will be on
display at the VIETBUILD 2011 international exhibition, which begins in
Hanoi on Nov. 26. The five-day exhibition will introduce
environmentally-friendly materials and energy-saving devices related to
the housing industry.

Organisers told a press conference on Nov. 22 the event will feature 1,260 booths, including 233 domestic businesses, 75 joint venture companies and 61 foreign groups and enterprises from 18 countries and territories including China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Italy, Indonesia, Singapore, France, Germany, the US, Australia and Vietnam.
The event is expected to offer opportunities to enhance investment cooperation in the Vietnamese property market while providing customers with the latest technologies.
Five agreements with a total value of 150 billion (7.17 million USD) are scheduled to be signed at the event, which also includes the presentation of the VTOPBUILD and VIETOPRE awards to encourage quality improvements and creation of construction and real estate products.
A series of conferences featuring advanced and environmentally-friendly products would be held under the exhibition.
VIETBUILD has been an annually exhibition jointly organised by the Ministry of Construction and the AFC International Exhibition Fair Corporation./.
