The Pu Huong Nature Reserve in central province of Nghe An was designated as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2007. Over the past few years, collaborative efforts between enforcement agencies, local authorities, and the community have been instrumental in safeguarding the biosphere reserve.
