PV OIL contracted to supply oil to Dung Quat
The PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV OIL) and the Binh Son Refinery and
Petrochemical (BSR) on June 17 signed contracts on crude oil supply to
and sales of products by the Dung Quat Refinery.

Under the new contracts, PV OIL and BSR will coordinate with other local firms to ensure crude oil supply so that Dung Quat can run at full capacity from now till the end of this year.
Since August 2008 to the end of May this year, the trial operation period of the refinery, PV OIL supplied 4.2 million tonnes of crude oil from the Bach Ho (White Tiger) oil field to Dung Quat and sold over 3.6 million cu. m of products from the refinery.
Located in the central province of Quang Ngai , Dung Quat is the first oil refinery of Vietnam that is built with a designed capacity of 6.5 million tonnes a year./.
