The People’s Committee of the central province Quang Nam has decided to invest more than 21 billion VND (1 million USD) to build the Azich- Lang-Axan road in mountainous Tay Giang district.
The road, which aims to improve transport infrastructure in the mountainous area of Tay Giang, is scheduled to be completed in 16 months. The project will comprise various construction stages, including work on the foundation, road surface and supporting infrastructure.
The remote mountainous district of Tay Giang is located 180km northwest of Tam Ky city and 125km southwest of Da Nang city. Covering 902.97 sq.km, the district has a total population of 17,200 people, mainly the Co Tu ethnic people.-VNA
