Hong Kong’s Texhong Ngan Long Sci-Tech Company has become the first enterprise to receive an investment licence in the northern province of Quang Ninh within 24 hours of application.
The licence for building a garment fibre plant in Hai Yen industrial zone was granted to the company on Apr. 11.
The 300 million USD project will build six fibre workshops, operating at a total capacity of nearly 140,000 tonnes a year by October, 2017.
It is also expected to generate jobs for 4,500 domestic workers by October, 2015.
Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee said the locality’s policy is to save investors’ time, creating a favourable environment to draw more foreign investment.-VNA
