A reburial service for the remains of 22 fallen soldiers who fought as volunteers in Laos was held in the central province of Thua Thien – Hue on May 15.
Officials from Laos ’ Salavan and Sekong provinces attended the service.
At the service, Thua Thien – Hue provincial officials spoke highly of the two provinces’ people and armed forces who had created the most favourable conditions for the search of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers’ remains in Laos over the past time.
The 22 remains were found after over six months of searching./.
