Reference exchange rate down 6 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set the reference exchange rate at 22,442 VND/USD on April 3, down 6 VND from the previous day (March 30).

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,120 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,776 VND/USD.
The USD prices slightly increased at commercial banks. The opening hour rates at Vietcombank stood at 22,755 VND/USD (buying) and 22,825 VND/USD (selling), both up 5 VND from the rates on April 2.
BIDV listed the buying rate at 22,760 VND/USD (buying) and 22,830 VND/USD (selling), up 10 VND both ways.
Vietinbank increased the listed rates by 21 VND, buying the greenback at 22,764 VND/USD and selling at 22,834 VND/USD.- VNA
