With the current trading band of /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied for commercial banks on the day is 22,778 VND and the floor rate, 21,452 VND per USD.
The opening-hour rates listed at commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.
Vietcombank cut its buying rate by 20VND to 22,660 VND and selling rate by 10 VND to 22,750 VND for one USD compared to December 7 rates.
At Techcombank, the buying rate was listed at 22,650 VND, down 20 VND and the selling rate at 22,735 VND per USD, down 30 VND.
The buying rate was listed by BIDV at 22,660 VND and the selling rate at 22,740 VND for one USD, both down 30 VND./.
