Reference exchange rate down by 3 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,459 VND/USD on the morning of October 20, down by 3 VND from a day ago.

With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 23,133 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,785 VND per USD.
Major commercial banks’ rates are quite stable.
Vietinbank and BIDV offered their buying and selling rates at 22,680 VND and 22,750 VND, per USD, unchanged from the day ago.
Vietcombank set 22,680 VND (buying) and 22,750 VND (selling), per USD, down by 5 VND from the day earlier.-VNA
