Reference exchange rate drops on August 15
The daily reference exchange rate for August 15 was adjusted down 1 VND from the previous day to 22,685 VND/USD.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,365 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,005 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks stayed unchanged from August 14.
Both Vietcombank and BIDV are listing the buying rate at 23,270 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,350 VVN/USD.
At Techcombank, the greenback is being bought at 23,250 VND per USD and selling at 23,350 VND/USD.
The daily reference exchange rate opened this week going up, but it was kept unchanged on the next day before going down today.
The rates listed at commercial banks were stable except for slight rises on Tuesday.-VNA
