Reference exchange rate goes up 7 VND
The reference exchange rate on October 6 was set at 21,971 VND for one USD, up 7 VND from the day before.

However, the listed rates varied from bank to bank in the early opening hours.
Vietcombank raised its buying rate by 15 VND to 22,280 VND per USD, while the selling rate went up 35 VND from one day ago to 22,370 VND.
BIDV kept its rates unchanged at 22,270 VND/ 22,340 VND (buying/selling).
The listed rates at Eximbank were 22,255 – 22,335 VND/USD, the same as October 5.
Techcombank also maintained the same rates as the day before, at 22,260 – 22,360 VND/USD.-VNA
