Reference exchange rate goes up for third consecutive day
The reference VND/USD exchange rate went up for the third consecutive day on October 13, standing at 22,012 VND per USD, an increase of 15 VND from the day before.
Illustrative image (Source: VNA)With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 22,672 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,352 VND per USD.
No changes were recorded in the rates listed by commercial banks in the early opening hours.
The buying rate listed by Vietcombank was 22,260 VND per USD, while the selling rate was 22,330 VND, the same as the previous day.
Rates were also listed at 22,260 – 22,350 VND/USD at both BIDV and Vietinbank.
Meanwhile, Techcombank posted buying and selling prices at 22,250 - 22,350 VND per US dollar.-VNA
