Reference exchange rate kept unchanged on July 3
The State Bank of Vietnam kept the daily reference exchange rate for July 3 unchanged from the previous day at 22,635 VND/USD.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,314 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,956 VND/USD.
However, the rates listed at commercial banks surged strongly.
The rates listed at Vietcombank were 23,005 VND/USD (buying) and 23,075 VND/USD (selling), both up 85 VND.
The rates at BIDV rose 65 VND to 22,990 VND/USD (buying) and 23,060 VND/USD (selling).
Techcombank added 35 VND to its listed buying rate, bringing it to 22,935 VND/USD and 40 VND to the selling rate, bringing it to 23,040 VND/USD.-VNA
