Reference exchange rate remains stable on August 7
The daily reference exchange rate on August 7 remained the same as on the previous day at 22,676 VND/USD.

the same as on the previous day at 22,676 VND/USD.
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,355 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,997 VND/USD.
Meanwhile, the opening hour rates at commercial banks saw mixed changed, with Vietcombank and BIDV raising their listed rates and Vietinbank reducing its rates.
Vietcombank raised both rates by 5 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,265 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,345 VND/USD.
The rates at BIDV were also adjusted up 5 VND to 23,265 VND/USD (buying) and 23,345 VND/USD (selling).
Vietinbank cut both rates by 7 VND, buying the greenback at 23,261 VND/USD and selling at 23,341 VND/USD.
The reference exchange rate has been kept at 22,676 VND per USD since August 3.-VNA
