Reference exchange rate remains stable

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,191 VND per USD on June 24, unchanged from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 23,191 VND per USD on June 24, unchanged from the previousday.

With thecurrent trading band of /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercialbank during the day is 23,888 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,598 VND/USD.

The rateslisted at commercial banks saw decreases.

At 8:30 am,the rates at Vietcombank were listed at 22,880 VND/USD (buying) and 23,110VND/USD (selling), both down 10 VND from June 23.

BIDV cut bothrates by 20 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,910 VND and the selling rate at23,110 VND/USD./.
