Reference exchange rate revised up 3 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,201 VND per USD on July 13, up 3 VND from the previous day.
Illustrative image (Photo: VNA)With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial bank during the day is 23,897 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,504 VND/USD.
The rates listed at major commercial banks saw increases.
At 8:20 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,890 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,120 VND/USD, up 20 VND from July 12.
BIDV also added 20 VND to both rates, listing the buying rate at 22,925 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,125 VND/USD.
Meanwhile, Vietinbank raised both rates by 15 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,900 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,120 VND/USD./.
