Reference exchange rate rises 5 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for December 26 at 22,795 VND per USD, up 5 VND from the previous day (December 25).

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks for the day is 23,479 VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,111 VND/USD.
The transaction office of the State Bank of Vietnam kept both rates unchanged from December 25 at 22,700 VND/USD (buying) and 23,424 VND/USD (selling).
The opening hour rates listed at commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.
Vietcombank maintained the same rates as on the previous day at 23,230 VND/USD (buying) and 23,320 VND/USD (selling).
The rates listed by BIDV dropped by 5 VND to 23,230 VND/USD (buying) and 23,320 VND/USD (selling).
Both rates at Techcombank also went down by 10 VND to 23,210 VND/USD (buying) and 23,320 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
