Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate on May 25 at 22,589 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of + /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied tocommercial banks during the day is 23,266 VND/USD, and the floor rate 21,922VND/USD.

The rates listed at major commercial banks saw a slight fluctuation in themorning.

Vietcombank raised its both rates by 5 VND to 22,745 VND/USD (buying) and22,815 VND/USD (selling).

BIDV maintained both rates at the same level as on May 24, at 22,740 VND/USD(buying) and 22,810 VND/USD (selling).

Techcombank also keep their both rates unchanged from the previous day, at22,720 VND/USD (buying) and 22,820 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
