Reference exchange rate up 10 VND on December 10

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,258 VND/USD on December 10, up 10 VND from that on December 9.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,258 VND/USD on December 10, up 10 VND from that on December 9.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,471 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,045 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw increases.

At 8:31 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,170 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,470 VND/USD, respectively up 13 VND and 10 VND from December 9.

BIDV also posted the same buying and selling rates, which respectively rise 5 VND and 10 VND./.
