Reference exchange rate up 10 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,443 VND/USD on February 23, up 10 VND from the rate on the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 22,443 VND/USD on February 23, up 10 VND from the rate on theprevious day.

With the current trading band of /-3 percent,the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,116 VND/USDand the floor rate 21,772 VND/USD.

The openinghour rates at major commercials saw increases from the previous day.

Vietcombankraised both rates by 5 VND compared to February 22, listing the buying rate at22,685 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,755 VND/USD.

The rates atVietinbank were set at 22,695 VND/USD (buying) and 22,765 VND/USD (selling),both up 13 VND from the rates on February 22 morning.

Both rateslisted by BIDV were up by 15 VND, to 22,685 VND/USD (buying) and 22,755 VND/USD(selling). - VNA
