Reference exchange rate up 8 VND on November 24
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,141 VND/USD on November 24, up 8 VND from the previous day.
Illustrative image (Photo: VNA)With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 23,825 VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,438 VND/USD.
The opening-hour rates at commercial banks rose.
At 8:30am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,545 VND/USD and the selling rate 22,775 VND/USD, both up 5 VND from November 23.
BIDV also added 5 VND to both rates, listing the buying rate at 22,575 VND/USD and the selling rate 22,775 VND/USD./.
