Regional conference aims to solve labour disputes
A regional conference on labour disputes was held in Hanoi on Feb. 28
by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Vietnam, the host
Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and the ASEAN
Secretariat.

This was an opportunity for governments, employees and employers’ organisations in the region to seek solutions for labour disputes.
To reduce and resolve the disputes in Southeast Asia , employees and employers should reach a consensus, said participants at the gathering, adding that dialogue and compromise were very necessary.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hoa said that Vietnam is also amending its labour law, aimed at building a harmonious labour relationship and protecting legal rights of both employees and employers. -VNA
