Remains of soldiers found in Laos, Cambodia reburied in Kon Tum

A service was held at a cemetery in Ngoc Hoi district in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum on April 27 to re-bury remains of 21 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid down their lives while conducting international missions in Laos and Cambodia.

Kon Tum (VNA) – A service was held at a cemetery in Ngoc Hoi district in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum on April 27 to re-buryremains of 21 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid down theirlives while conducting international missions in Laos and Cambodia.

The remains were found and collected by Team K53 of Kon Tum province.

Among those, 16 sets of remains, were collected in Cambodia’s Rattanakiriprovince, and the rest from Laos’ southern provinces of Sekong, Attapu andChampasak.

None of the remains have been identified./.
