Rock pop band Biuret from the Republic of Korea (RoK) will perform the first time in HCM City on March 19.

The sexy three piece outfit formed in 2002 features Moon Hye-won – lead vocal, guitar and songwriter, Lee Gyo-won – lead guitar and Ahn Jai-hyun on bass guitar. They incorporate emotional vocals, infectious live performances and superior musicianship.

Biuret released their first extended play “ My Name is Biuret” in 2005 and within months sold out the first edition. The first full-length album “ Be Full of Spirit Beautiful Violet” was released in 2007.

The band has performed in over 600 live shows in clubs, college festivals and rock festivals, and opened for British rock group Oasis in RoK , Australia , Japan and Britain.

They were overall winners of the 2009 Sutasi music search to find the best contemporary act across Asia.

Biuret are currently cooperating with American songwriters and producers to create their first international release scheduled for May 2010.

Their show in HCM City , organised by The Hi-Fi Group, will be at the Hi-Fi Bar on Nguyen Hue Street./.
