Hanoi (VNA) – The revised Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments and the revised Law on Education were adopted on June 14 during the ongoing seventh session of the 14th National Assembly.

Up to 91.53 percent of the legislators supported the revised Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments.

The law comprises 16 chapters with 207 articles stipulating the principles, procedures, organisation, tasks and power of competent agencies and persons in the execution of criminal judgments; the rights and obligations of persons and commercial entities who have to comply with criminal judgments and judicial measures; along with the responsibility of relevant agencies, organisations and individuals in the judgment execution.

Meanwhile, 85.54 percent of NA deputies showed their approval for the amended Law on Education.

The law consists of nine chapters with 115 articles regulating the national educational system; educational establishments, teachers and students; the State’s management of education; and the rights and responsibilities of agencies, organisations and individuals related to educational activities.-VNA
