ROK-funded e-learning centre opens in Hanoi

An e-learning centre at the National Economic Technical College ( NETC ) was inaugurated on August 2 as part of a cooperation programme with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Samsung Electronic Vietnam (SEV).
An e-learning centre at the National Economic Technical College ( NETC ) was inaugurated on August 2 as part of a cooperation programme with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Samsung Electronic Vietnam (SEV).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, KOICA’s Chief Representative in Vietnam Kim In expressed hope that the centre will contribute to meeting the demand for high quality human resources in the field of information technology (IT) in Vietnam to serve the country’s construction and development.

Besides providing IT skill training, the centre will also organise culture-gastronomy exchanges and sporting events with the college’s staff and students.

This is among the cooperation projects between KOICA with the outstanding enterprises of the Republic of Korea (RoK) in the framework of the enterprises’ civil responsibility programme./.
