More than 80,000 residents of Buon Ho Town in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak will benefit from a water supply construction project granted by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the Korea International Co-operation Agency in Vietnam.

The 44.5-million USD project was launched on Nov. 14 with an aim to provide a stable water source for the area where 70 percent of local people use unsafe water from wells, rivers or lakes for living.

"Safe water is the foundation for economic development. I hope that the project will contribute to socio-economic development and minimise the impact of climate change for the local people," said the vice president of KOICA, Han Choong Sik. /.
