Leading retailer Emart of the Republic of Korea has unveiled its plans to open its first hypermarket in Ho Chi Minh City's Go Vap district, one of the most populous areas in the southern hub.
Total investment capital will be 60 million USD.
Choi Kwang Ho, General Director of Emart Vietnam, said Emart will cooperate with about 1,000 local suppliers for the first hypermarket.
The hypermarket, covering an area of 30,000sq.m, will include direct sale areas of 6,000sq.m, and entertainment areas with a restaurant, play room and game room.-VNA
