RoK hypermarket moves into HCM City

Leading retailer Emart of the Republic of Korea has unveiled its plans to open its first hypermarket in Ho Chi Minh City's Go Vap district, one of the most populous areas in the southern hub.
Leading retailer Emart of the Republic of Korea has unveiled its plansto open its first hypermarket in Ho Chi Minh City's Go Vap district, oneof the most populous areas in the southern hub.

Total investment capital will be 60 million USD.

ChoiKwang Ho, General Director of Emart Vietnam, said Emart will cooperatewith about 1,000 local suppliers for the first hypermarket.

Thehypermarket, covering an area of 30,000sq.m, will include direct saleareas of 6,000sq.m, and entertainment areas with a restaurant, play roomand game room.-VNA
