Naval ship Wang Goen of the Republic of Korea (RoK), with 306 officers and sailors on board, arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on October 10 to begin a four-day friendship visit.
During their stay, the crew will lay a wreath at the Statue of President Ho Chi Minh and pay courtesy visits to leaders of the municipal People's Committee and the High Command of Military Zone 7.
They will also hold sport activities with students of the Naval Technical School.
The visit is one of the activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties. It also helps strengthen the friendship, cooperation, mutual understanding and trust between the two countries and their armed forces.-VNA
