The Korean Tourism Organisation (KTO) opened a tourism and cultural office in Hanoi on April 1.
Under the management of the Republic of Korea (RoK) embassy, the office is expected to popularise tourism products of the RoK and boost exchanges between the two peoples and with neighbouring countries’ peoples.
Statistics showed that last year, over 90,200 Vietnamese tourists visited the RoK and 520,000 RoK visitors arrived in Vietnam.
At the event, the KTO also organised an exhibition to advertise tourism products to Vietnamese businesses and people as well as promoting major events related to RoK’s tourism./.
