The 15 displayed hanji works were created by Yang Sang Hoon, Chairmanof the RoK hanji artists’ association, who said he hopes the first everhanji exhibition will help increase the mutual understanding andfriendship between his country and Vietnam.
On thefringe of the event, talks with RoK artists, forums, and exhibitionswill be held while the making of Vietnam’s traditional “do” paper willalso be introduced to the public.
The hanji display, organised by the Hanoi-based RoK Cultural Centre, will run throughout April.
It is part of the “NEXT Project to Dispatch International CulturalExchange Experts by Region” supported by the RoK Ministry of Culture,Sports, and Tourism.-VNA
