The accolade was presented by the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.
According to Alexey Lavrenniew, Director of the Russian Culture Centre in Hanoi, the honour is to acknowledge Hong’s contributions to Vietnam-Russia relations.
In response, Hong affirmed that he will exert all his effort to continue fostering bilateral ties.-VNA
