Russian President Vladimir Putin has said his country will foster relations with its traditional Asian partners such as Vietnam and India, which hold increasingly important roles in the world.
At an annual meeting with Russian ambassadors and permanent representatives in Moscow on July 1, he said Russia will also further communication with Japan and other countries, including members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The event also heard Putin’s viewpoints on the Ukraine issue and Russia’s relations with other western countries.-VNA
