Russian Cultural Days in Vietnam programme opens
Hanoi (VNA) – The Russian Cultural Days in Vietnam kicked off in Hanoi on October 5.
The
event is held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in
conjunction with the Russian Ministry of Culture, and other relevant agencies of both countries.
Addressing
the opening ceremony, Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Cultural, Sports and Tourism, said the
traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam
and Russia have been thriving in all fields, including cultural exchange.
The Cultural Days in Vietnam offered chances for Vietnamese people
to enjoy various cultural traits of Russia, contributing to the development of
the traditional friendship, she added.
For
his part, Russian Deputy Minister
of Culture Zhuravskiy Alexander stressed the development of cultural ties between Vietnam
and Russia, saying that cultural exchange
activities of the two countries have been frequently held in various forms and
scales, consolidating and enhancing the bilateral relations.
The
event runs until October 10 with numerous activities, such as an exhibition themed
"Nature of Northern Russia", a concert of the Russian National
Orchestra and performance of the famous Beryozka Choreographic Ensemble.-VNA
