General Director of the Russian Oil Group, Zarubezhneft, Nikolai Brunich has been bestowed with Vietnam ’s Labour Order, first class.

Speaking at the Labour Order title presentation ceremony in Moscow on July 20, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Bui Dinh Dinh said that the Vietnam-Russia traditional and friendly relationship, particularly their bilateral economic ties, has seen fine development.

“Vietsovpetro is a symbol of the effective cooperation between Vietnam and Russia in the oil and gas field,” he said.

“State President Nguyen Minh Triet signed a decision to grant Vietnam ’s noble award to Zarubezhneft General Director Brunich in recognition of his contributions to Vietsovpetro and the two countries’ cooperation,” noted the Vietnamese diplomat.

CEO of the National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) Phung Dinh Thuc congratulated Brunich on his Labour Order title honour. He spoke highly of Zarubezhneft’s success over the past 40 years.

For his part, Brunich thanked the Vietnamese leaders for their high appreciation of his group and himself and confirmed to make more contributions to consolidate and develop the two countries’ bilateral ties./.
