Primorie region of Russia is willing to conduct joint projects with Vietnamese enterprises in light industry, agriculture and seafood, affirmed Primorie Governor Sergey Darkin, who accompanied President Dmitry Medvedev during his visit to Vietnam on Oct. 30-31.
He also said that Primorie authorities are ready to provide land for production and necessary infrastructure for promising Vietnamese enterprises as well as help them distribute their products to the central region of Russia .
According to the governor, Primorie region and Vietnam posted a two-way trade value of 25 million USD in the first half of 2010.
Primorie mainly exports cement and construction materials to Vietnam while Vietnamese goods account for 80 percent of Primorie imports of food and food products./.
