Thanh Dung as part of their working visit to the southern province.
At the meeting, Dung briefed his guests on the province’s socio-economic situation and its advantages and potential for development.
He introduced a number of projects in the locality which are calling for investment.
The Russian delegation’s visit aims to study Vietnam ’s policies on women and population as well as issues regarding social welfare, education, culture and tourism in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
They expressed the wish for more cooperation opportunities between the Vietnamese locality and the Russian autonomous region.
The delegation is scheduled to visit a number of production facilities run by women and the Vietnamese-Russian oil and gas joint ventue, Vietsovpetro. They will also work with the provincial women union and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations.-VNA
