The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) has asked Ho Chi Minh City authorities to consider withdrawing licences of several schools offering courses illegally affiliated with foreign education institutions.

These schools were previously fined for their violations of regulations governing educational activities and ordered to suspend the training courses. However, in the latest inspection in September, the ministry found they continued to provide consultation services or recruit students for the suspended training courses.

The MoET specified four institutions in its request sent to HCM City , which are ERC Vietnam, Institute for Finance and Administration (IFA), Sibme International Education and Melior Vietnam.-VNA
