Sports stadiums, gymnasiums, and villages developed for the 27th Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar will be used as sports university facilities once the SEA Games are over.

Accordingly, these complexes will serve talented young athletes aged 9 years and above where they will be professional trained.

This is one of Myanmar’s ambitious goals to revive its sport which has lagged behind over the recent past.

Earlier, the Myanmar government attracted investment of over 13 billion USD to build and upgrade competition revenues, hotels, transport systems and security devices in preparation for the regional tournament.-VNA
