Addressing the function, Deputy PM spoke highly of Minh Phu Seafood Corp.’s investment in the project, at a cost of 1.45 trillion VND.
He also asked investors and local authorities to ensure the project’s progress and quality.
Once completed in 2010, the 56.4 ha plant will be capable of churning out 20,000 tonnes of shrimp a day for export, expecting to net 180 million USD in exports yearly.
It will also offer 10,000 job opportunities for local workers.
Minh Phu Corp. is one of Vietnam ’s top seafood producers and exporters./.
