The southern province of Dong Nai attracted 55 new foreign direct investment (FDI) projects and permitted 84 existing projects to add capital in the first nine months of 2017.
The Republic of Korea (RoK) remained Vietnam’s No.1 investor during the January 1-September 20 period, with total investment of 6.31 billion USD, accounting for 24.7 percent of total foreign direct investment (FDI) Vietnam has attracted in the time, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Vietnam attracted 25.4 billion USD in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first nine months of 2017, up 34.3 percent year on year, reported the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI).
Ho Chi Minh City was the most attractive destination for foreign investors, luring 3.74 billion USD in the first nine months of this year, accounting for 14.6 percent of the country’s total 25.4 billion USD.
