Mass mobilisation is an important task in building a transparent and strong Party, administration, front and trade unions.

Politburo member Le Hong Anh, standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat made the statement at a conference to review the national mass mobilisation in 2011 and launch tasks for 2012 in the central city of Da Nang on Jan. 13.

Anh hailed important achievements made by the mass mobilisation sector last year and pointed out weakness and shortcomings need to be addressed in the near future.

It is necessary to thoroughly grasp the standpoint, “revolution is a cause of the people, by the people and for the people”, implement the motto, “people know, people discuss, people do, people check” to uphold creativity potential and mastership of the people, to successfully implement the Resolution of the 11 th Party Congress, Anh said.

He also stressed the need to continuiereform and effectively implement kinds of mass mobilisation, increase dialogues with the people, uphold democracy, creating conditions for the people to contribute ideas to amending and supplementing the 1992 Constitution, Anh said.

Nguyen The Trung, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation said that last year’s mass mobilisation has contributed to promoting patriotic emulation campaigns, improving diplomatic and international integration activities as well as effectively implementing the Government’s measures to curb inflation, stabilise the macro-economy and ensure social welfare./.
