At the competition night in the central city of Nha Trang on Nov. 17, the 23-year-old Tijana Rakic, in a pink Vietnamese traditional long dress, beat other 38 candidates with an impressive performance.
Other four winners of the Ao dai competition come from the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Nicaragua, and Taiwan.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Stephanie Pazmino, 23, charmed the jury and audiences with a white evening dress.
Four runners-up of the competition include beauties from Thailand, Brazil, the Czech Republic and Venezuela.
On the Nov. 17 show, the organising board handed over 1 billion VND for Khanh Hoa province and 1.3 billion VND for Phu Yen, Quang Nam and Binh Thuan provinces to support flood victims.
On the occasion, the Thanh Nien (Young People) daily granted 200 million VND to flood-hit provinces in the central region./.
