Stocks rebounded slightly on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange on September 12 after two consecutive sessions of decline, with the VN-Index regaining 0.45 percent to close at 388.35 points.

Trading volume and value decreased, however, as 32.6 million shares, worth almost 387.4 billion VND (12 million USD), changed hands, down 9 percent in volume and 15 percent in value from September 12's levels.

Gains by several blue chips continued to support the market, with the VN30 Index up 0.13 percent to 453.96 points.

Tan Tao Investment Industry (ITA) was the most active share on the day with more than 4.76 million shares traded, declining 3.8 percent to 5,100 VND a share.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index saw an overall decline by the end of the session, closing off 0.17 percent at 57.42 points.

More than 28.8 million shares, worth almost 186.7 billion VND (8.9 million USD), changed hands.-VNA
