largest ever anti-terror drill, modelled closely after the Mumbai
terror attacks last year in which 166 people were killed and more than
300 wounded.

The exercise, codenamed Northstar VII, involved more than 2,000 participants from 15 agencies including Singapore Armed Forces.
The exercise’s final day phase was staged in the witness of Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and several cabinet ministers.
The officials had demonstrated how they would respond in a scenario when terrorists attacked several targets including ships at sea, a train station, shopping mall and hotels./.
