Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) has announced that Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade and Industry S Iswaran, will make an official visit to Cambodia on July 21.

While in Cambodia, Minister Iswaran will meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Kheng, Senior Minister of Commerce Sun Chanthol and Minister of Mines and Energy Suy Sem.

He will also take part in a business networking session between 18 Singaporean businessmen and their Cambodian counterparts.

Singapore was Cambodia's sixth largest trading partner in 2012, according to the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Singapore's investments in Cambodia has also increased 11 percent year-on-year to reach a cumulative value of 240 million SGD in 2012. Singaporean companies have invested in Cambodia in such sectors as property development, hospitality, energy, garment, agriculture and logistics.-VNA
