Singapore (VNA) - Four Singaporeans were dealt with under the Internal Security Act (ISA) for involvement in terrorism-related activities, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said in a statement on August 19.

Among the four are 50 year-old Rosli Hamzah, a car washer, and 33-year-old Mohamed Omar Mahadi, a driver, who were sentenced to two-year imprisonment for preparing to travel to Syria to fight for the self-claimed Islamic State.

The two others are 34-year-old Dian Faezah Ismail, Omar’s wife, and Mohamad Reiney Noor Mohd, a building technician. They are kept under surveillance.

Ismail supported her husband's intention to join ISIS and take up arms in Syria, said the MHA.-VNA
