The value of the deal has not been revealed, according to ictnews.vn.

Thisis the third time another company has invested in Foody.vn. The twoprevious investments came in 2012 from Tokyo-based CyberAgent VenturesInc., a venture capital arm of CyberAgent Inc., and Pix Vine Capital, aSingaporean investor in 2013.

Foody Corporation also operatesdeliverynow.vn and tablenow.vn, which provide services for delivery andtable-booking. It plans to expand its market in Southeast Asia.

Foody.vn,which was founded by Dang Hoang Minh in 2012, has more than 115,000POIs (points of interest), 275,000 ratings and 1.5 million photos.

Thewebsite attracts eight million visitors each month and 500,000 mobileapp downloads, making it the number one site for rating and searchingrestaurants and other venues in Vietnam.-VNA
