A delegation of the National Council of the Slovak Republic led by its Speaker Pavol Paska arrived in Hanoi on the morning of Jan. 26 to begin an official five-day visit to Vietnam.

The visit is being made at the invitation of Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Nguyen Phu Trong.

The Slovak delegation includes Minister of Health Richard Rasi; Minister of Transportation, Post and Telecommunications Lubomir Vazny; member of the Slovak National Council’s Committee on Economic Policy Pavol Pavlis; member of the Slovak National Council’s Committee on Health Care and head of the permanent delegation of the Slovak National Council to the Central European Initiative Stefan Zelnik; Vice Chairman of the Slovak National Council’s Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee Peter Missik; member of the Slovak National Council’s Committee on Culture and Media Gyula Bardos; Head of the Slovak National Council Office Viktor Stromcek and Head of the Slovak Government Office Igor Federic.

The delegation is also accompanied by representatives of 10 leading Slovak conglomerates and businesses operating in banking, guarantees and development and healthcare./.
