Son La asked to report on poor resettlement facility condition
The PM has requested northern mountainous Son La province to make a list of resettlement project facilities to make way for the construction of the Son La hydropower plant that are in bad conditions.

(Source: VNA)The Prime Minister has requested the People’s Committee of northern mountainous Son La province to make a list of resettlement project facilities to make way for the construction of the Son La hydropower plant that are in bad conditions.
The People’s Committee was asked to scrutinise facilities serving local residents displaced by the Son La hydropower plant construction and identify those in need of repair or renovation. They are also required to report the cause of damages.
Previously, the Ministries of Investment & Planning; Finance; and Agriculture & Rural Development made a field trip to survey the facilities and discovered many are in poor condition which were mainly caused by disasters, poor maintenance or misuse.-VNA
